What is a debit card? It looks like a credit card, but acts like a check. Enjoy instant access to your checking account 7 days a week, 24 hours a day with an AAEFCU ATM card. Get your cash fee-free (without an ATM fee) when you use any AllPoint Network ATM or other fee-free ATMs offered by many retail merchants. Click here to find a convenient AllPoint ATM.
You can withdraw a maximum of $400 a day (or to the amount available in checking account if your balance is less than $400). Your ATM withdrawals are deducted from your checking account almost immediately.
You can also use your debit card in retail stores. With a debit card you don’t pay hefty credit card fees at the end of the month. Your debit card purchases will be deducted from your AAEFCU share draft checking account as soon as the merchant processes your transaction (often the same day but occasionally transactions may be delayed a few days). No checks to write, no monthly bills to pay!
Note: When using your share draft account debit card at retail locations (like gas stations) for a purchase with no cash back you should select “CREDIT” or specify “Debit Card = NO” in order to make your transaction.
Your share draft debit card has a PIN number*. If you forget your PIN you must contact AAEFCU by telephone to order a new number. Also note that you will receive your debit card and the associated pin in the
Health Savings Account debit cards do not have a PIN and HSA Card transactions are processed as credit transactions.
